    Master of Sports Physiotherapy

    Andrew is an experienced Sports Physiotherapist. He is driven by a passion for assisting patients of all backgrounds in attaining their rehab and performance goals. He dedicates himself to uncovering the root cause of their concerns and equipping them with the necessary education and rehab tools for sustainable, long-term solutions.

    Andrew graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor in Physiotherapy in 2009. He then went on to gain his title of APA Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist after completing his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2016. Andrew has worked for several years within the elite sporting sector. Currently he is consulting and travelling internationally as a Sports Physiotherapist on the ATP World Tennis Tour managing the world’s best players. Previously Andrew has worked in various roles and sports, including the High-Performance Manager at the Glenelg Football Club, the Head Physiotherapist at the Adelaide Thunderbirds Netball Club and Adelaide 36er’s Basketball Club, as well as holding travelling roles with Netball, Basketball and Tennis Australia.

    Andrew draws on his extensive experience in elite sport for a professional and high-performance approach to your management and rehabilitation.

  • Lauren Bendo

    Lauren Bendo

    Bachelor of Physiotherapy

    Lauren is a highly motivated and personable physiotherapist who has an emphasis on a hands on approach, whilst providing patients with the tools, education and support to reach their rehabilitation goals.

    Lauren has worked professionally in high performance sporting environments. She is currently the head physiotherapist for the Adelaide Thunderbirds and their elite pathways contributing to their exciting 2023 and 2024 championship victories. She is also the head physiotherapist for the Australian Under 21 National Netball team, and has previously worked with the Australian Fast 5 Netball Team in their World Cup championship. She has previously worked with the Contax Netball club and National State Basketball Program.

    Passionate about promoting the well-being of female athletes, Lauren has developed a special interest in Women's Health. Her dedication extends to providing comprehensive care and guidance to women throughout every life stage, including pregnancy and postpartum rehabilitation, pelvic pain management and incontinence, particularly with the return to activity and in the sporting environment.

    Lauren leads several of our clinical exercise Pilates classes where she continues to challenge patients individually with progressive overload principles.

  • Lauren Pike

    PHYSIOTHERAPIST
    Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons)

    Lauren completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in 2021 at the University of South Australia and is currently completing her Masters in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy at Latrobe University. Which is another step forward for Lauren in the APA titling pathway. 

    Lauren has over 5 years of experience in clinical musculoskeletal physiotherapy and high-performance sports. She has completed her APA Level 2 Sports Physiotherapy course and is experienced working within sporting teams and with active populations. She is currently working with elite/sub-elite athletes through her role as physiotherapist for The Adelaide Thunderbirds SN Reserves team, Adelaide Fire Women’s Hockey Team and has utilised numerous years in her past roles to build upon her skillset. This included her previous roles asd Head Physiotherapist for the U/18 and U/16’s at North Adelaide Football Club U/21 Women’s State Hockey Team Physiotherapist.

    She also has a keen interest in clinical exercise and pilates, you will see her leading numerous classes throughout the week. Lauren loves forming meaningful connections with her patients and supporting them through their rehabilitation journey. 


    Lauren is a calm point of guidance for any presentation that comes through the door. Particularly, some areas of passion for Lauren include managing the adolescent athlete and paediatric populations, TMJ (temporomandibular joint) pain and the foot and ankle. She believes in bringing high-performance care to all her patients and approaching things holistically. 

    She is enthusiastic about empowering her patients with a combination of treatment, education, and exercise to restore them to the things they love doing. Having been a part of The Physio Society for over 3 years now, Lauren is a very trusted and integral presence on our team and to our community.  

  • Daniel Shillabeer

    Daniel Shillabeer

    Master of Physiotherapy, Bachelor
    of Exercise Science

    Daniel brings a wealth of experience from working in the professional and sub-elite sport setting. Having initially completed a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and working with the Adelaide 36ers as a Strength & Conditioning coach, he learned the vital importance of a supportive team during the rehab process.

    Driven by a genuine passion for helping athletes return to sport, and a deep curiosity about rehabilitation, Daniel went on to gain his Master’s in Physiotherapy.

    Daniel has a special interest in orthopaedic rehabilitation, sports injuries, and adolescent conditions. He believes in taking a holistic approach to treatment, ombining manual therapy and exercise as part of a tailored approach to helping those return to what they love, whether competitive sport or a run with friends on the weekend.

    Daniel is actively involved in sports physio, working as a physio at South Adelaide Football Club and with the State basketball team and his involvement in community sport earned him the 2022 SAMSA Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

  • Claudia Harvey

    Claudia completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) at the University of South Australia and is an enthusiastic physiotherapist with a strong commitment to helping individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals. She takes a holistic approach to care, combining hands on treatment with tailored exercise programs to support long-term outcomes.

    Claudia has a particular passion for working with athletic and active populations, with a special interest in the prevention and management of sports related injuries. She has developed her skills through roles with several sporting teams, including the Glenelg Women’s Development League team, the Contax Reserves Netball team, and most recently, the South Australian Under 17 State Netball Team, contributing to their success in winning gold at the national championships.

    With a strong background in running gym-based rehabilitation programs, Claudia has also completed additional training to become a certified GLA:D instructor. She now runs the program here at the clinic, which combines education and supervised exercise for individuals with hip or knee osteoarthritis. In addition, she leads multiple clinical Pilates classes each week, bringing energy and a focus on movement quality to every session.

  • Georgia Lovelock

    PHYSIOTHERAPIST
    Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours)

    Georgia completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours and has since gained extra qualifications in the field of women’s health. Her goal is to break down the taboo of women’s health conditions and help women through each stage of life from period and pelvic pain, to pregnancy, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and menopause. She has completed her Level 2 in the Women’s Pelvic Health Physiotherapy course allowing her to perform internal vaginal and anal examinations. 

    Aside from Women’s Health Physiotherapy, Georgia also enjoys teaching Pilates and treating sports related injuries. She has ongoing experience with the Adelaide Cricket Club women’s and men’s team and thrives off injury prevention and management throughout their season.
